The wait is finally over for Pakistan Super League (PSL) fans. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the schedule for PSL 11, and the upcoming edition promises to be bigger than ever.
The tournament will run from 26 March to 3 May, featuring 44 matches across six venues. With two new cities hosting games and the league expanding to eight teams, PSL is clearly stepping into a new phase. And fittingly, the action will begin at one of Pakistan cricket’s most iconic venues.
Gaddafi Stadium to Host Opening Match
The opening fixture of PSL 11 will take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on 26 March, where Lahore Qalandars will face the newly introduced Hyderabad Kingsmen.
Lahore Qalandars enter the tournament with strong credentials. The franchise lifted the PSL trophy in 2022, 2023 and 2025, which makes them one of the most successful teams in the league’s history.
Naturally, their opening clash against Hyderabad Kingsmen will attract plenty of attention as fans get their first taste of the new season.
Overall, Gaddafi Stadium will host 15 matches, including the final on 3 May. The venue will also stage three double headers during the tournament on 29 March, 19 April and 25 April.
One of the most anticipated matches at the ground will be the classic rivalry between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings, scheduled for 29 March.
PSL Expands with Eight Teams
PSL 11 marks a significant milestone for the tournament.
For the first time in its history, eight teams will participate, expanding the competition beyond its traditional six-team format.

Each team will play 10 matches in the group stage, with the top four sides advancing to the knock-out phase.

Two New Cities Join the PSL Map
One of the most exciting developments this season is the addition of Faisalabad and Peshawar as host cities.
For the first time, PSL matches will be played at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad and Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar, expanding the league’s footprint and bringing top-level cricket to more fans across the country.
Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar
The stadium, previously known as Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium, will host its first-ever PSL match on 28 March. The fixture will see Peshawar Zalmi take on Pindiz in an afternoon game.
Interestingly, the venue last hosted an international match almost two decades ago, when Pakistan faced India in an ODI on 6 February 2006.
Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad
Meanwhile, Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad will stage seven PSL matches.
Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will play four games at the venue, while Peshawar Zalmi will appear in three matches.
The first game in Faisalabad will take place on 9 April, when Lahore Qalandars meet Islamabad United in an afternoon fixture.
Multan and Karachi to Host Key Fixtures
Other major venues will also play an important role during the tournament.
Multan Cricket Stadium
Multan will host four evening matches, all featuring the home side, Multan Sultans.
The first match in the city is scheduled for April 1, where Multan Sultans will take on the Hyderabad Kingsmen.
National Bank Stadium, Karachi
Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, formerly known as the National Stadium, will host six matches in PSL 11.
Both Karachi Kings and Hyderabad Kingsmen will play three matches each at the venue, while Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United will feature in two games each.
The first fixture in Karachi will see Hyderabad Kingsmen face Peshawar Zalmi on 8 April. Fans will also witness a new rivalry when Hyderabad Kingsmen take on Karachi Kings on 11 April.
Rawalpindi to Host Key Knock-Out Fixture
The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will stage 11 matches, including Qualifier 1.
The venue will also host two double headers on 2 April and 26 April.
Both Islamabad United and Pindiz will treat Rawalpindi as their home ground this season. Islamabad will play six matches there, while Pindiz will appear in five games.
The two teams are also set to clash twice during the group stage, with matches scheduled for 4 April and 23 April.
