British screenwriter and producer, Jemima Goldsmith’s latest movie is hitting cinemas real soon. Directed under the wing of Shekhar Kapur who released some of the biggest hits including ‘Elizabeth’ and ‘Mr. India’s story follows the life of a documentary filmmaker who embarks on a journey to film her best friend’s marriage to a fellow Pakistani girl chosen by his parents. The cast includes Lily James in the lead role along with Shahzad Latif and none other than our dearest Sajal Aly.
Recently,Shekar Kapur sat down with a Pakistani Journalist to share his thoughts about the upcoming movie. While talking about the role of Sajal Aly Kapur shared his thoughts about Sajal as an actor on screen and as a person in general.
“Sajal Exudes innocence through her eyes. However, if you look closely that innocence also shows a lot of strength and intelligence she holds inside of her.”
“She is beautiful, every time she comes on set we all are in awe of her. Regardless of her beauty, the amount of dedication she shows to her work is amazing.”

While talking about her acting skills in the movie, Kapur further added,
“There is just so much strength and pain in her work. In the very beginning, I told her that she must not perceive herself as weak. She is gentle and shy and she must never confuse this with weakness, and when you will see the movie you will realize that strength she has portrayed amazingly in her work.”
What Love’s Got To Do With It is a rom-com for the books. As Sajal Aly reprises her role along with some of the biggest names across the borders, fans can’t wait to see her on the big screen.
