United Brands Limited has officially announced to discontinue all Johnson & Johnson products from their portfolio for Pakistan.

According to an official notification, United Brands has informed that the removal of all products from their profile carrying the Johnson & Johnson name will result in a monthly loss of revenue of approximately Rs.70 million.

However, the notification failed to mention the reason behind removing the brand from the portfolio.

Earlier in April 2019, United Brands announced the discontinuation of distribution for other major brands from their portfolio, including:

  • Mars
  • Wrigley’s
  • Haleeb Foods
  • Unilever
  • Heinz and
  • IFFCO

United Brands Limited is a distributor of allied products and consumer goods. Their vast portfolio consists of all major brands from baby clothes to chocolates, dairy products, flavored milk, cosmetics, and others.
