Over the weekend, Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi’s harassment controversy engulfed social media all over again.
It all started when the multi-talented Pakistani artist, Ali Zafar took to Twitter to reveal major details about the court’s progress on the harassment case.

Moreover, speaking with Geo about the year-old controversy, Ali broke down into tears citing the torment his family went through.

And now Meesha’s legal team has issued a statement to share their side of the tale with the world.

According to her legal team:
It is unfortunate that Ali Zafar is misleading everyone by his incorrect and false statements
It also added:
Ali Zafar’s statement that Meesha made sexual harassment allegations against him in order to get international fame and so as to get Canadian immigration is false and defamatory
The public and Pakistan’s entertainment industry overall seems to have mixed opinions regarding the case.
On one hand, die-hard Ali Zafar fans are celebrating his court victory, while Meesha’s fans are openly dismissing the decision.
