Karachi to Experience Hot Weather in the Last 10 Days of Ramadan

On Monday, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz stated that Karachi may experience hot weather during the last 10 days of Ramadan as heat intensity is expected to increase from March 20 in the city.

The weather is likely to remain relatively pleasant during the initial days of Ramadan. “The days will comparatively be hot and nights to be better because of sea breezes,” the chief meteorologist maintained.

According to PMD, the weather will remain cool and dry over the next 24 hours, with temperatures ranging between 11° C and 13° C. On Monday, the lowest recorded temperature was 13.5° C.

“The winds are blowing at a speed of 7 kilometres from the north, while the humidity was recorded to be 32%.”

Meanwhile, Peshawar experienced cool, dry and partly cloudy weather with temperatures dropping to 6°C and humidity recorded at 64%. Met office reported.

Additionally, the weather forecasting department noted that the sky remained partly cloudy in Quetta and its adjoining areas.
