Earlier, Hyundai Pakistan shared its plans to start locally manufacturing their vehicles in Pakistan. Initially, the plan is to produce 10,000 units per annum by 2020.

Hyundai-Nishat wants to then further grow and manufacture 30,000 units per annum by 2024. While the plant is expected to be completed by 2019, we can expect full-fledged operations to kick-off from early 2020.

Hyundai-Nishat Pakistan is reportedly going to launch the pickup truck H100 which is famously known as Shehzore in the local markets. Following the Tucson SUV, Kona, and Elantra.

However, if the lineup is closely monitored, we can come to a conclusion that none of the cars in the Hyundai Pakistan lineup have an advantage compared to their rivals, from price point and specifications as well.

This means that business for Toyota (IMC), Honda Pakistan, and even Suzuki Pakistan. However, we still have to see what miracle the company can produce to make things better for them in terms of business.
