Mansha Pasha is the wife of well-known lawyer and social activist Jibran Nasir and she recently uploaded a video on social media explaining how armed individuals forcefully took her husband away in a shocking incident in DHA Karachi. In a video shared on social media, Mansha explained that the incident occurred while they were returning home after dinner late Thursday night. Here have a look at the video.
Mansha Pasha who was visibly distressed in the video, said, “Just half an hour ago, my husband Jibran Nasir, who is a renowned lawyer and has done a lot for the country, was abducted by some people.”
Details Of The Abduction
She described how their car was stopped by around 15 armed men traveling in a white double-cabin vehicle, a Vigo to be exact. “We were coming back from dinner when a big white car stopped us abruptly, nearly causing an accident. There were about 15 armed individuals with pistols. They forcefully took my husband.”
Pasha has now requested the public’s support and has urged everyone to raise their voices in solidarity and pray for her husband’s safe and swift return. Condemnations immediately poured in as news of Nasir’s abduction spread. Numerous individuals and human rights organizations expressed their concern and demanded Nasir’s safe and immediate return.
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) even tweeted saying, “HRCP is deeply concerned by reports of lawyer and activist Jibran Nasir being abducted by unknown armed persons in Karachi. We demand his immediate safe recovery and that his abductors be held accountable under the law.” which shows that his abduction hasn’t gone unnoticed.
