It is a dark day for Bollywood and fans of Salman Khan. The Bollywood star has been found guilty in the 20-year-old Blackbuck poaching case and has been sentenced to five years in jail.

The Dabangg star is fined with INR 50,000 by the Jodhpur court and has reached Jodhpur jail.

Actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam Kothari and Sonali Bendre – the co-accusers in the case – were found innocent as the evidence against them was not strong enough under the Indian section 9/51 of Wildlife Act.

It was Salman Khan who was found guilty of using two firearms with alleged expired licenses. While convicting Salman Khan, the court said that the Dabangg star is a ‘habitual offender’.

Salman and his co-stars from Hum Saath Saath Hain were accused of hunting and killing two Blackbucks in 1998 in Kankani, Rajasthan. According to the Wildlife Protection Act, Blackbucks are an endangered species and hunting them is prohibited.

However, fans and followers of Sallu Bhai are in support of the star. Look at what they have to say about the court’s verdict against their favorite actor.
