The FIFA 2014 tournament also used balls made in Pakistan, called ‘Adidas Brazuca’. We will once again be the official manufacturers of FIFA 2018’s footballs, however, there’s a twist!
This time around, the footballs will have microchips in them! Forward Group was congratulated by The Secretary Commerce for their winning streak in securing bids for the FIFA World Cups.
The company shared that the new ball includes a microchip technology that allows the speed and trajectory of the ball to be tracked and analyzed.
