Episode 3 of Zanjeerain starts with a lot of tension as Torsam Khan demands his inheritance, but the family treats him like an outsider. While Sher Dil Khan shuts him down, it’s Sohrab Lala who really steals the show with his “wicked” expressions.
Many fans suspect that Sohrab is the real villain, playing a double game, doing something bad behind the scenes while making sure Torsam gets the blame. To make things weirder, Sohrab claims that reading books makes a man a “buzdil” (coward).
Sarbuland tries to defend education, but in this house, a moustache and a gun clearly carry more weight than a college degree.
The Screen Time Struggle and Biryani Blues
Bibi Jan tries to settle the tribal war with a big family dinner, but the viewers are busy fighting a different battle, the hunt for Sajal Aly.
Fans are demanding more scenes of the lead actress, asking why Sahar Hashmi is getting so much screen time while Rabia, aka Sajal, is being sidelined.

Despite the lack of scenes, the “Biryani Diplomacy” scene was full of tension. While the family argued over almond halwa, viewers pointed out the unfair treatment of Torsam.
He was doubted and humiliated without proof, making it hard to watch him suffer while the “real” trouble-makers sat at the head of the table.

Emotional Acting and the Orphan Card
Usman Javed’s performance as Torsam is the soul of this episode. His dialogues and the way he talked to Sarbuland were so emotional that they left many fans in tears.
People are starting to realise that Torsam isn’t actually a bad person; he’s just a man who has been lonely and pushed away his whole life.
As one viewer said, “If he isn’t a rebel, what else could he be?” The episode ends with Sarbuland using a clever guilt trip about Bano being an orphan to win her the right to study.
It was a dramatic win for the students, but with Sher Dil Khan hiding a secret illness and Torsam being framed, the real storm is just beginning.
If you want top-class expressions and deep emotions, Usman Javed is carrying the show on his shoulders. But please, editors, give us more Sajal Aly before the fans start a protest!
