PM Shehbaz Sharif performed Umrah on Friday with his senior delegation during a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia.
The Prime Minister offered Nawafil prayers inside the Holy Ka’aba and prayed for Pakistan’s advancement, the well-being of its people, the Muslim Ummah, and the people of Gaza.
Meeting Saudi leaders will be part of the Prime Minister’s trip. They will consider improving cooperation in crucial areas including trade, investment, Muslim Ummah welfare, and regional peace and security.
Additionally, the PM Shehbaz Sharif will also demonstrate thankfulness for the benevolent help of the Saudi leadership in lessening the recent hostilities between Pakistan and India.
According to the Foreign Office, the journey stresses the deep-seated, time-tested ties Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have developed upon shared faith, mutual respect, and strategic alliance. This trip should help two countries become closer.
It will also help to find new forms of cross-sectoral collaboration. The official negotiations aim at creating more avenues for cooperation between the two nations.
