On Thursday, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced that it will start direct flights from Lahore to Paris. The first flight will begin on June 18. This move is part of the airline’s goal to expand its services.
“PIA has decided to run a weekly flight from Lahore to Paris every Wednesday.” As a result, PIA will now operate three direct flights to Paris each week.
Moreover, the airline stated that this new route fits well with its strategy to expand its European network. It also aims to satisfy the growing travel demands of the Pakistani community living in both France. Additionally, the spokesman said, “This direct path to Paris meets a longstanding request from the Pakistani community, presenting economical fares and time savings.”
Earlier this year, PIA restarted its Paris-Islamabad flight. Since then, the airline has gradually expanded its European routes to meet increasing demand. To mark this occasion, the airline adorned a Boeing 777. Specifically, the nose of the aircraft featured the words “I Love Paris,” while a model of the Eiffel Tower appeared on its tail.
Furthermore, this aircraft came equipped with a wireless in-flight entertainment system. This allowed passengers to enjoy movies and other content directly on their personal devices.
In addition, it should make travel between Pakistan and France both more affordable and more efficient.
