PM Shehbaz Summons All-Party Conference On Tuesday To Discuss National Issues

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will chair an All-Party Conference (APC) on Tuesday at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad. The meeting will start at noon. Leaders and representatives from political parties across Pakistan will attend it. They will discuss Operation Bunyanum Marsoos along with several other national matters.

Earlier, PM Shehbaz visited the Operations Division headquarters of Islamabad Capital Police. During the visit, he announced that May 10 will be observed annually as Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq. This day will celebrate the success of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos. He stated, “Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq will be celebrated every year on May 10 throughout Pakistan with the same enthusiasm and passion of national unity.”

Furthermore, he praised the armed forces and said, The professional competence of our gallant forces made us proud.”

In addition, PM Shehbaz declared May 16 a day to honour the armed forces and offer gratitude to Allah. Special Friday prayers will be held nationwide as part of Youm-e-Tashakur, which will highlight the nation’s progress and unity.

The Shuhada Package 

Moreover, the prime minister introduced a Shuhada package for families of those martyred during Marka-e-Haq. Each civilian martyr’s family will receive Rs 10 million. Injured citizens will get compensation ranging from Rs1 million to Rs2 million.

He also stated that families of armed forces martyrs will receive between Rs10 million and Rs18 million, depending on rank. Additionally, they will receive housing support between Rs19 million and Rs42 million.

Overall, these actions reflect the government’s strong commitment to national unity and deep respect for the military’s sacrifices.
