We all remember Shehzad Roy’s Chal Parha where he took us across Pakistan on his Harley Davidson on a mission to educate Pakistan. So once again we have a chance to see the beautiful side of Pakistan, this time with the talented Zoe Viccaji who takes us to the beautiful north in a video of her new song, Hojao Azaad.

Making a name for herself by appearing on almost every season of Coke Studio since 2010, with her equally talented sister Rachel Viccaji, Zoe had numerous accolades under her belt.

The newest addition to her list of credits is her newly released track, Hojao Azaad which talks about freedom of oneself. The video takes us to Gilgit-Baltistan leaving us all in awe.

With collaborations with Strings for “Mera Bichra Yaar” and Bilal Khan for “Anjane” to one of the best-mixed albums of 2014, Dareeche, Zoe is one talented singer with a very bright future.

Talking to a newspaper, Zoe talked about the new video, its message and about her shooting experience.  “I wouldn’t like to say too much about it yet, as I want leave that up to the viewers,” she said

The music video is directed by Kamal Khan, whereas Yasir Khan, serves as the DOP.

Shot across different locations in Pakistan, the video takes us on a road trip all over the Norther Areas of Pakistan.

Zoe Viccaji Collaborates With Chitrali Singer For Romantic Song ‘Ashiqi Angar’

“We covered some stunningly beautiful areas in Gilgit-Baltistan. Flying into Skardu, we shot in Khaplu and Shigar’s surrounding areas, then drove through the Deosai plains, up into to Astore Valley and back down to Hunza where we explored other areas like Attabad Lake and Gulmit”, Zoe said when asked about the areas they visited for the  shoot of the video.
