A new bug has taken over your phone! If you are an Apple user, and if the Indian character appears on your phone, then your phone is as good as gone!
The Indian character was identified to be of one of the 22 official languages of India, Telugu. The bug is causing the iOS to crash and is also preventing the device from turning on again.
The bug was first spotted by Mobile World. This currently affects devices running iOS 11.2.5 and has been fixed in the beta for Apple’s next update, the website has reported.
It further said that the bug has the ability to affect any application which has characters, including Twitter, Facebook, and more.
If you are seeing weird characters, its best to uninstall and reinstall your applciations. The issue also affects Macs and Apple Watches, Engadget reported.
Apple said it’s working on a fix that should be available in the next update.
