The movie that took 3 whole years in the making finally launched its smashing trailer last night in Karachi, Yalghaar’s trailer makes the movie definitely worth the wait!
Boasting a stellar star cast, the War themed saga is bound to become a super-hit. Did you know there are 15 superstars in the movie? The creme de le creme of Pakistan’s entertainment industry is starring in the patriotic project. This makes us all the more excited for Yalghaar.
Here are the 10 Celebrities we are looking forward to seeing in Yalghaar.
1.Humayun Saeed As Trojan
Popular actor Humayun Saeed has always played the protagonist and is for the first time going to be seen in a negative role for Yalghaar. Known for his excellent acting skills and performances we can’t wait to see him in a totally new avatar. He plays the role of a militant known as Trojan.
2. Shaan Shahid As Colonel Asad
The protagonist and lead actor for Yalghaar, the veteran actor, Shaan Shahid is seen what he does best. A true patriot by heart, Shaan’s plays Colonel Asad in Special Services Group of Pakistan Army.
3. Bilal Ashraf as Captain Bilal
The dapper Bilal Ashraf caught fame and popularity after the blockbuster movie, Janaan. The Pakistani heartthrob is a treat for the sore eyes and seeing him decked up in a uniform as Captain Bilal, in action is definitely a cherry on the top.
4. Ayub Khosa as Colonel Jogezai
Veteran actor Ayub Khosa is an actor par excellence. His commitment to work is such that even after being drilled on set [by accident of course!] he still wanted to get it on camera. He plays Colonel Jogezai in Yalghaar.
5. Ayesha Omar as Zarmina
Playing the love interest of the militant, Trojan Ayesha Omar portrays, Zarmina. Various shots from the trailer show the beauty in a completely different deglamorized look.
6. Adnan Siddiqui as Colonel Imran
Siddiqui plays the role of Colonel Imran. Being a famous tv drama actor, he is now heading off to the big screen. He has always been an actor who has tried his hand at all sorts of roles, we hope he does complete justice to playing the colonel.
7. Armeena Rana Khan as Kajo
Armeena Rana Khan plays Kajo, the love interest of Bilal Ashraf. The budding romance between the two is something we can’t wait to see.
8. Umair Jaswal as Captain Umair
Brother to the crooner and Coke studio star, Uzair Jaswal, Umair will now be seen making his Lollywood debut with this movie, he plays the role of Captain Umair.
9. Gohar Rasheed Khan as Baran
Always playing the antagonist on TV screen, Rasheed will this time be seen playing the role of a militant called, Baran. The actor will be sticking to his ‘baddie’ image once again.
10. Uzma Khan as Captain Samia
Uzma returns to movies with this war epic film as Captain Samia. We can’t wait to see her in action throughout the movie.

Yalghar is set to be released in 1600 screens worldwide in 60 countries and will be the first Pakistani movie to be shown across cinemas in China. Looks like CPEC has definitely opened up doors for Pakistan.
