WhatsApp has become a platform of multipurpose. Not only does it help families and friends around the world to connect.
But, it also helps people who are in help of jobs or who are from different jobs but the same industries.
These groups were made to keep everyone from the same sectors and businesses so that everyone is on the same page. However, some pages go un-interactive while others are left unmonitored, and this can be alarming to some.
In order to make sure that does not happen anymore, WhatsApp’s new feature called ‘Dismiss as Admin’ is here! This feature is currently available in beta only, however it allows a group member to dismiss an admin, making them an ordinary participant in the group.
The member then becomes the admin and has the rights of including or removing participants from the group.
Android users can avail the aforementioned WhatsApp update, according to WABetaInfo. For this purpose, they will have to sign up for the beta version of the messaging app.
Another similar feature WhatsApp has introduced is the ‘Restricted Groups’, in these, only the admin has the authority to posts messages.
