Canadian low cost carrier WestJet surprised 250 passengers by bringing them the exact gifts they asked Santa Claus for at a digital booth. Passengers flying from Toronto and Hamilton International airports had the opportunity to tell a virtual Santa Claus what their dream Christmas present is. Then when they arrived in Calgary, gift-wrapped boxes bearing the passengers’ names arrived on the baggage reclaim carousel with the dream present inside. WestJet worked with Studio M for three months to design the event. Christmas or Christmas Day is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed generally on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world.
