DC Comics recently announced its plan of working on various new super-hero movies, and releasing all of them till 2020.

So, for the Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Women, Spiderman and many other comic lovers Warner Bros. has just promised for a treat.

The announcement has quickly made its way through the internet as millions of Marvel fans have started to buzz over the list like bees. Here have a look at this list,

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

To be introduced in 2016, the movie has batman and superman fans already on heels, with Ben Affleck being featured as Batman and Gal Gadot acting as Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman

A much anticipated movie, Wonder woman starring Gal Gadot in the lead role is no doubt a heavy head turner. The movie is an introduction of one of Marvel’s main character, who is also going to be seen in many other related Marvel movies, the movie’s expected release year is 2017.

Justice League Part One

Following the new trend of splitting the story line into parts, the story line of Zack Snyder’s Justice League is being split into two parts (well as for now at least), the first part of which will be released by 2017.

The Flash

Another hit character from DC Comics and also a part of many other Marvel movies, Flash has 2018 all to himself. The movie will be a solo introduction of Flash, which stars Ezra Miller from Perks of Being a Wallflower and Jason Momoa from GOT as Aquaman.

Shazam

A character from DC Comics, much like that of Superman himself is Shazam, the movie which is expected to be released in 2019 will be featuring Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam.

Justice League Part Two

The second part of Justice League, starring many of DC Comics star characters will be released (as per the announcement) in 2019 as well. A lot of hype is in the market for Justice League especially after the much successful screening of The Avengers.

Cyborg

Starring Ray Fisher as Cyborg, the much powerful character of the DC Comics will now be having a whole movie to himself, which is expected to release in 2020; but it is worth the wait.

Green Lantern

One of the most anticipated movies, especially after the much successful cartoon series of the same, Green Lantern’s movie announcement has already stirred up a lot of excitement amongst the fans.

Except for these, some of the confirmed upcoming titles along with dates, introduced in the announcement included:

  • 2015: Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1st) and Ant-Man (July 17th)
  • 2016: Captain America 3 (May 6th — co-starring Iron Man) and Doctor Strange (July 8th, with no one confirmed for the title role as yet)
  • 2017: Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (July 28th) and two untitled films for May 5th and November 3rd
  • 2018: three untitled films for May 4th, July 6th, and November 2nd
  • 2019: one untitled film for May 3rd

Also, for the Batman and Superman fans, the solo movies of both of these most loved characters are already underway but the release dates and other information regarding which are yet to be released.
