One of the most popular messaging and voice chat app – Viber is all set to enter the mobile gaming arena with the launch of its various games.

Viber was initially launched in 2010 as a direct competitor to Skype. However over the years it has taken an entirely different positioning and is now available for use on desktops, iOs, Android phones and Blackberry.

 It works on both 3G/4G as well as through Wi-Fi internet connectivity.

Following the expansion to Mobile Video Calls and then Viber Public Chats, now Viber has announced that they are launching Viber Games. Viber has approached several leading game developers to bring in uniquely featured games to the users.

The launched games include Viber Candy Mania, Viber Pop which has been created in co-ordination with mobile game network, Storm 8 and another game is Wild Luck Casino from leading casual games developer, Playtika.  The characters in the games feature some of the famous Viber stickers. The games also have the features of gift sending, using leaderboards, Inviting friends, bragging and tracking friends’ progression.

Currently the games are now available in Belarus, Malaysia, , Israel, Singapore and the Ukraine.

Viber games will be available worldwide by January 2015, with other additional games as well.
