The  Under-19 tournament will be played in Bangladesh, starting today. The teams are enthused for new talent to join their ranks and participate while the young cricketers are quite excited about playing in the globally televised matches.

The government is ensuring top notch security for the teams as Australia stepped out for the same reason. New Zealand appears to be quite confident about the approach they have decided to implement of following in the footsteps of the seasoned cricketers. Christian Leopard was one player who rose to prominence in the Under-19s tournament played in the United Arab Emirates.

The Indian team has the veteran Rahul Dravid coaching them while Pakistan hopes to bring its talent forward in these tournaments too.

England is already being hailed as one of the top contenders, given most of the young cricketers already play county tournaments and would be well prepared.

Bangladesh is under a lot of pressure to win the series with the advantage of home ground. Sri Lanka may also want to include fresh talent. Also, West Indies, South Africa and Zimbabwe should be on the look out for star players who can move up into the senior teams.

On the other hand, Nepal and Fiji have also joined the ranks to compete with other cricket playing countries while Afghanistan, out of the associates will have to play it’s best as other cricket leagues will be scouting for new talent.

The matches will be played across four cities spanning over a time period of three weeks.
