Pakistan’s cricket team is all set to prepare the list of players for mega event i.e. World T20 and right arm pacer, Umar Gul hopes that he would make it to this list.

After a hiatus of 10 months, Gul was selected in the national team’s squad in recently concluded series against New Zealand. In this series, Gul could not show much of his magic bowling and almost all the bowlers disappointed fans.

In a series of three matches against New Zealand, Gul was part of the playing 11 in two matches and he could only picked up two wickets. Despite this, Gul hopes that there is a lot up on his sleeve and the panel should not make decision for T20 merely on the results of series against New Zealand.

This tall and passionate cricketer is currently busy with on-going PSL where he is a part of Quetta Gladiators and he and his team is doing quite well.

In PSL, he is mentored and coached by cricketing legend Sir Vivian Richards and Moin Khan and the results of their coaching and mentorship is vividly noticeable not only in Gul’s but in the performance of all the players.

Meanwhile, when the cricket board of Pakistan prepares its list of players for World T20, Gul will keep his fingers crossed and hopes high.
