Toyota has officially announced the discontinuation of the luxurious sedan, Mark X. The automotive manufacturer will stop production for the vehicle in December 2019.

The Mark series first came on to the roads in 1968 under the name Corona Mark-II and since then was known to be the go-to luxury sedan with exceptional performance.

In 2004 it was renamed from Mark II to Mark X. It was often termed as the Toyota Camry alternative.

However, sales had witnessed a drop due to the slowing demand for sedans in Japan. To mark the end of a legendary ear, Toyota will roll out the limited edition Mark X 250S Final Edition in Japan which will be equipped with 18-in aluminum alloy wheels, dark chrome, and front bumper trim.
