It’s official! The Khoobsurat couple will not be appearing together in the social comedy, Battle for Bittora. Rumors had it that Fawad Khan’s no-kissing-no-bold-scenes policy was about to cost him his role opposite Sonam Kapoor in Battle for Bittora for quite some time.

However, Khan has denied all rumors at the recent Vogue Beauty Awards 2015 claiming that he has stepped out of Rhea Kapoor’s upcoming project due to date issues. According to him, he has been busy with other projects (read: Kapoor and Sons), while the Kapoor sisters are busy with their own.

His statements were soon drowned with questions regarding his decision affecting his relationship with the Kapoor family; since they were the ones who gave him his big Bollywood break and made him the global superstar that he is today.

Khan clarified his position by claiming that he didn’t actually reject the movie and all was well between him and the Kapoors. More so over, he would love to work with them again if the opportunity arises.
Rumor has it, Sonam Kapoor’s Bhaag Milka Bhaag biopic co-star, Farhan Akhtar will be replacing Khan in Battle for Bittora.
