It is always inspiring to see brands pay heed to their customers, not in just consumer insight, but in daily routine too.

Taking its social responsibility a notch above the others, Telenor Pakistan, after reading Brandsynario’s earlier article on its 10 year OOH activation near Shahra-e-Faisal, took the initiative to add on a walkway for pedestrians to walk by without any hassle.

According to Telenor Pakistan’s official representative, the story proved to be an eye-opener for the telco brand whose OOH branding near Shahra-e-Faisal was creating a hindrance for pedestrians to walk by a busy road, raising the chances of accidents.

In an official statement given to Brandsynario, Telenor’s officials said, “Telenor Pakistan gives its civic responsibility utmost importance.  The footpath in question was procured after all prerequisite approvals were sought from the authority, however, upon inspection and to ensure no inconvenience was caused to pedestrians the issue was fixed on priority on the night it arose. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused.

We hope the following act of socially responsible marketing by Telenor will inspire other brands to follow suit.
