1. This International Women’s Day, I pledge…
To keep stretching the limits of what I think I am capable of.
2. Across the advertising landscape, I want to see more female representation in…
Senior leadership roles.
3. One stereotype about women that should be busted this year is…
That women with kids cannot be in leadership roles.
“My organization is promoting gender equality and women empowerment by being cognizant of equal representation of gender diversity when hiring at all levels of management.”
4. My organization is promoting gender equality and women empowerment…
By being cognizant of equal representation of gender diversity when hiring at all levels of management. We also have flexible working hours and WFH hybrid options for women who are mothers.
5. I believe women can fight gender inequality at their workplaces…
By hiring more women! Champion female return-ship programs. Also, by showcasing their work. I find women tend to hesitate more when showcasing their work on any platform and that needs to change so we know the faces and stories behind the campaigns, which could then inspire other women.
6. As for men, they can help reduce gender bias at home and work…
By becoming partners – whether it’s delegating responsibilities at home or kids; there is no cookie-cutter approach, and it varies from home to home. Also, I think all men have the responsibility to speak up and support their female colleagues if they are faced with an incident that goes against gender equality norms.
7. My message to young women looking to start a career in 2022 is…
With the ecosystem evolving, being multi-faceted is important. Creativity alone is not enough. Keep a pulse on research, tech and digital so that feeds into your creatives.
