1. This International Women’s Day, I pledge…
To continue challenging stereotypes and inequality while cheering for all the hard-working women around me.

2. Across the organizational landscape, I want to see more female representation in…
Leadership roles. My experience suggests that women can be phenomenal leaders and managers, I have personally worked with brilliant women talent in Pakistan. Would love to see more of them taking leadership roles in organizations nationwide.

3. The one stereotype about women that should be busted this year is…
1. Women don’t deprioritize work for personal responsibilities or vice versa. I think they can manage both very efficiently and that too with a smile.
2. Women can be very strong and fair negotiators. Give them a chance before you judge them.

“PepsiCo Pakistan is promoting gender equality and women empowerment by providing female talent opportunities across functions within the company including leadership roles.”

4. My organization is promoting gender equality and women empowerment…
By providing female talent opportunities across functions within the company including leadership roles. I am very fortunate to be working for an equal opportunity employer. The inclusive culture here not only provides a safer space for us to grow and learn but also gives us a platform to voice our opinions fearlessly.

5. I believe women can fight gender inequality at their workplaces…
By cheering for women around them. Make an extra effort to acknowledge and highlight their co-workers and friends who are making a difference each day. Let’s make this something we can do all year round.

6. As for men, they can help reduce gender bias at home and work…
By advocating for and respecting gender equality. It is imperative that they encourage and support women at work and at home to chase their dreams.

7. My message to young aspiring women looking to start a career in 2022 is…
You are not in competition with other women around you, we are all in this together. May you smash those stereotypes every day!
