TCL again claimed the No. 2 position in TV sales volume globally, as per research conducted by global research firm Media (Formely IHS). In the 2nd Quarter of 2020, the sales volume of TCL TVs increased by 31.6% year-on-year to 5.81 million sets. According to the report, the market share of TCL brand TV increased by 3.3 percentage points from 9.4% in the second quarter of 2019 to 12.7% in the 2nd quarter of 2020. The Company’s ranking jumped back to No.2 in the 2nd Quarter of 2020 among the global TV brands, compared to its No. 3 ranking overall for 2019.
TCL TV has developed substantial competitive advantages in product qualities, cost-effectiveness, and Internet content.
