LIFE OF SYRA SHAHROZ
Syra ‘s father is from Peshawar, Pakistan while her mother is of Afghan origin. She has three sisters, the late Ruqaiya Yousuf, Palwasha and Alishba Yousuf.
She married Shahroz Subzwari, the son of the famous television actor Behroz Subzwari, on 21st October 2012. Unfortunately after 2 weeks of their wedding, Syra lost her sister Ruqaiya who was battling with cancer. In 2014, the model turned VJ turned actress gave birth to an adorable baby girl, Nooreh.

WORK LIFE AND ACHIEVEMENTS
From a tender age of 16, Syra stepped into the world of entertainment as a model. Her break on television was in 2010 as a VJ on MTV. If you ever watched MTV’s “Bheja Fry” and “Most Wanted”, you will remember the lively lady, Syra hosting these shows.

Proving her mettle as a VJ, the rising icon eventually headed a year later to make a smashing entrance in TV serials. The diva’s debut drama was Hum TV’s Mera Naseeb in 2011. The critics praised her acting while the audience loved her for looks and style. Successfully creating an uproar in the drama industry, none could stop Syra from becoming the favorite of the directors.

In the same year, she graced the small screen yet again in Hum TV’s Mohabbat Rooth Jaye Tou. 2012 was a successful year for Mrs. Shahroz for she received a major back to back career boom with Hum TV’s Bilquees Kaur, ARY Digital’s Olper’s Tanhaiyaan: Naye Silsilay and Coke Kahani.
The viewers saw her in a different avatar of a negative role in ARY Digital’s Darmiyaan in 2013 and in a double role in HUM Tv’s Ru Baru in 2014.
Now the stylish starlet is all set for cinematic debut with Jawed Bashir’s Teri Meri Love Story and Love You Babylicious in which she will appear across her husband, Shahroz.
Little do people know that the uproar of Syra’s acting trysts and pretty face reached across the border and even Hollywood. Reaped various international offers, she declined them all due to either intimate scenes or lack of time.
Did You Know? Syra was offered a role of a Pakistani girl in an English feature film directed by Santosh Sivan to star opposite Sir Ben Kingsley.

WEDDING WITH SHAHROZ SUBZWARI
Syra and Shahroz initially met at a wedding of their mutual friend Ali Tariq. That time, both were teenagers; the actress 18 years old and the hero 19 years of age. Amidst Ali Tariq’s dholki and dance practices, Shahroz fell in love with Syra and the two began dating each other in 2006.

During their relationship, the couple went through a temporary break-up. In 2012, working together on the sets of Tanhaiyaan: Naye Silsilay, their love rekindled. While on-screen chemistry was adored by the fans the popular pair geared up to tie the knot in real life. Soon after the drama hit the airwaves, the media circuit was abuzz with the news of their marriage after Shahroz secured her lady for good.
Their intimate nikkah ceremonies were held in Karachi. Syra wore a stunning Kamdani ivory-colored, chicken-kari dress made by her mother-in-law and her makeup was done by the beautician Ranna. The couple celebrated their honeymoon in Rome, Italy.
