This week, the cricketer shocked Pakistan by announcing some back-to-back surprises on his Twitter account that created a massive frenzy in the cricketing world.
With the hashtag #ShoaibisBack, the cricket sensation declared that he is all set to play in a ‘league’ this time around and will be teaching the younger generation a lesson on speed.
Unveiling Pakistan Stains League
After much hype and hoopla, Shoaib Akhtar has finally put an end to all the rumors and revealed what he is really up to!
Taking to Twitter, the cricket superstar revealed the launch of an all-new league called the ‘Pakistan Stains League’.
Aur intezaar khatam hua. Ab hoga tezi ka muqaabla aaj kal kay bachon say. Let the most exciting league of Pakistan begin.

The social media movement was a masterstroke campaign by Pakistan’s leading detergent brand Surf Excel, in capitalizing the conversation around PSL.
Of course, our cricket legend will be part of a ‘league’ like he stated in his tweet. But he will be part of a contest between the strongest of stains and Surf Excel.
While everybody assumed that Shoaib Akhtar was taking a dig at the young cricketers, he was apparently referring to the kids of our nation for the matter.
The Vision Behind Pakistan Stains League
Shoaib’s talk about ‘tezi’ was actually a mention about Surf Excel’s fast stain removing power. Over time, the brand has strengthened its formula in order to remove stains in half the time it takes ordinary detergent to do so.
With its ‘Dirt is Good’ philosophy still intact, Surf Excel’s Pakistan Stain League will encourage the children to enjoy the game of cricket freely without the fear of getting dirty.
We must applaud the brand’s take on PSL and smartly using the name ‘Pakistan Stains League’ that will run parallel to the cricket event and is bound to keep the audience hooked throughout!
The brand along with its new league has clearly taken its war against stains to the next level and has roped in Shoaib Akhtar to clean bowl them all this time around.
