According to reports, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi has announced a full-fledged protest today, Friday- March 31 at Shahrah-e-Faisal. The ‘dharna’ is being held against K-Electric and it will kickstart at 5:00 PM.
It is likely that a massive traffic jam will erupt in the city today. Shahrah-e-Faisal will be likely blocked and traffic to and from the airport is likely to be affected.

According to Karachi Halaat Updates, following routes are advised for commuting:
1. MA Jinnah road.
2. Lasbela towards Nishtar road (Garden).
3. Kashmir road & Shahra-e-Quaideen.
4. Corridor-3.
5. I.I. Chundrigarh road & Shahra-e-Liaquat.
6. Mauripur road
Protest Postponed?
Meanwhile, a message has been circulating on social media that the protest has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. The new schedule being revealed is April 2nd at 1:00 PM.
However, no such announcement has been made by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi!
