Senior TV actor and radio artist, Syed Shahenshah passed away in Peshawar at the age of 68 on Thursday, 13th of April.

He was suffering from various health complications and ailments from the past twenty years. He leaves behind grieving family members that include his widow.

A large number of writers, radio artists, and people from the entertainment industry attended his funeral that was held in his village, Dhaki Mirababd in Tangi.

The actor had a passion for acting and completed his master’s in Pashto literature from the university of Peshawar. Syed began his career from a Pashto play at Peshawar radio station in 1974.

Syed Shahenshah appeared on about 200 radio, stage and TV plays and had many fans due to his excellent dialogue delivery and brilliant expressions. He mainly played an anti-hero in most of his plays.
