Samsung has officially announced the launch date of its flagship smartphone “Galaxy S5” for the Indian market as March 27, 2014.

Apparently, the Korean manufacturers are in a hurry to grab the world’s leading cell phone market and have already began sending out invitations to the media for the launch event.

However, the electronic giant will only unveil the jewel of the Galaxy series on the occasion, along with the revelation of its price in India. The smart phone’s actual availability in the market will start from 11 April 2014 – the same date as that of its global availability around 150 nations.

Clearly, everyone is eagerly waiting for Samsung’s disclosure of Galaxy S5’s price, which according to reports will be lower, than that of its predecessor Galaxy S4.

Sadly, the case might not be the same in India in regard to its weak currency and uncertain economic scenario.

Rumors are that Samsung will also reveal Gear 2 and Gear Fit wearable devices on the same day, but Galaxy S5 will definitely be the star of the show.

For those unaware, the water and dust resilient Galaxy S5 is being termed as the “best Android phone” till date; featuring a heart rate monitor, finger print scanner and many other innovations.
