Robert Downey Jr. has been casted in the role of Leonardo da Vinci in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie.

Huge Assassin’s Creed movie news just dropped recently and it seems like Iron Man Aka Tony Stark Aka Robert Downey Jr is reportedly joining the Assassin’s Creed movie cast as Leonardo Da Vinci,” states Moviepilot.
As per the website, this mega casting development hints that the film’s plot might be grounded on the game’s particular storyline where Leonardo Da Vinci was featured as a friend of Ezio Auditore.
Also Michael Fassbender, who played the character of Magneto- Eric Lehnsherr is still part of the Assassin’s Creed movie. He would be featuring in lead role in the movie.
During his latest dialogue with the media and press, Robert Downey Junior negated Iron Man 4 rumors by saying that the film is not happening right now. Nevertheless, with this new development, it seems as if Iron Man might woo his fans with another enormous blockbuster franchise soon enough.
As for the release date, there has been some confusion. Though according to the rumors the movie is scheduled to release on either on 7 August, 2015 or May 22, 2015.
