Ramadan Calendar 2018 Pakistan

The veteran member of Ruet-e-Hilal committee and senior religious scholar Professor Muhammad Hamza Naeem has given his prediction that the moon of Holy month of  Ramadan will be sighted on 27th March on Saturday.

According to Samaa News, the first day of fasting will be held on 28th May, Sunday.


Astronomically the birth of a new moon has been calculated. As per the estimation, 1st of Ramadan will be held on 28th May.

The month of Ramadan will consist of 28 days and Eid-ul-Fitr 2017 will be celebrated on 26 June!

What is more, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the Ramadan moon is to be sighted on May, 28th and the fasts begin on the 29th.

The PMD mentioned, “The minimum age of the moon for its sighting is 31 hours, and on June 6th, it would be 36 hours old. Therefore, it would be easily seen in most of the cities including the coastal belt of Sindh and Balochistan.
