Karachi will soon be receiving 2016’s first bout of winter rain, according to Weather Updates PK. A western disturbance is likely to effect Coastal Areas of Pakistan from tonight onwards, causing rainfall in the next 36 hours. The Global Forecast System and the Short Range Cola Precipitation Model are showing good amount of rainfall over the city.
Drizzling and light rainfall is expected in Karachi and adjoining areas from tonight.
However, light to moderate rainfall is expected in Karachi between 7th – 8th Jan 2016. As per close calculations, an estimated 2-5mm rain is expected in city during next 36 hours.
Due to this system temperatures in night times are expected to fall upto 13’C as well as upto 24’C during the day time.
