Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted rain across certain major cities of Pakistan. After serious heat wave gushed all through the country, the rain around different major cities will bring major relief against heat wave.
It was reported that Islamabad witnessed scorching temperatures of 46 degrees on Monday but the downpour last night was a blessing for the residents of the capital city.
The following cities are expected to receive rainfall and Gusty winds in the next 24 hours:
- Rawalpindi
- Gujranwala
- Lahore
- Sargodha
- Faisalabad
- Gilgit-Baltistan
- Kashmir
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA regions are also expected to receive rain and windstorms according to the MET department.
Looks like Karachites are going to have to wait for the next spell of rain to enjoy cool showers in the City of Lights! However, we can hope for a considerable drop in temperatures due to rain across Pakistan.
