Shahbaz Sharif has launched Pakistan’s first ever government-run online job portal, in collaboration with Punjab Labour Department, to help the unemployed citizens find job vacancies with ease. Coined The Punjab Labour Job Portal, the online platform displays the latest job vacancies across Pakistan, in all fields of profession, be it a government organization or a private one.
Some of the fields include information technology, engineering, agriculture, call center, education, NGO, services, accounts, engineering, marketing, pharmaceutics, medical, travel & tourism, development and FMCG.

With each job opening, the portal displays company information, number of vacancies, posting location, its category, availability of travelling allowance, salary range, career level, experience required, minimum education, skills required and the deadline for application submission.

The portal requires citizens to sign up and create a profile at the official website here. Once the profile is created and completed, the member can search for jobs via category filters and locations. The website is regularly updated so members need to log in and check for latest opportunities.
