(EBM) English Biscuit Manufacturers just crossed another successful milestone by reaching Rs. 11 Billion in sales of their flagship brand Sooper.

Peak Freans Sooper, Pakistan’s most successful biscuit brand, holds  37 % market share of the plain sweet segment of the biscuit industry in Pakistan, according to a reaserch by  AC Nielsen. This is  the largest owned segment by any biscuit brand.

Previuosly brands like Prince and  TUC were leading in this category, which is currently solely dominated by the brand Sooper’.

From the time of its launch, Sooper, a simple Egg & Milk cookie has achieved peaks in sales that no other biscuit brand has been able to boast of.

Currently being offered in two different flavors, the more recent of the two being  Cardamon, launched in 2013, Sooper has been the market success story.

On their latest tremendous achievement, the head of Marketing EBM, Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Ansari commented,

It is a moment of pride for EBM to be the parent company of Pakistan’s number one selling biscuit. The secret of Sooper’s success is the continuous innovation and adherence to strict quality standards maintained at EBM. Almost every company has tried replicating Sooper to climb on its success bandwagon, but has been unable to match the same taste and quality. At present, Sooper is exported to 13 countries and we plan on increasing that number soon.

Almost 20 million Sooper cookies are consumed every day and 430 million family packs were sold last year. Sooper was also elected the second most favourite brand during the Brand Elections conducted by MEMRB Research agency across Pakistan.
