The PAS Awards 2017 is the highlight for the marketing and advertising industry and is truly a night to be cherished. The highly organized event was star-studded and full of jubilant award- winners, definitely making it a night to remember.
The grand event took place at the Karachi Expo Centre on Saturday, 15th of April, 2017. The Pakistan Advertisers Society awards are held to celebrate the advertisements and campaigns rolled out during the past year.
This year, Nurpur presented PAS Awards 2017 powered by Jazz, in association with A Plus. Winners were awarded in 32 different categories, 20 regular while 12 were special cat201ries.
There were three special awards, namely:
- Campaign of the Year
- Best Nationally Originated Campaign
- Top Brand 2016
PAS lifetime achievement award was awarded to the marketing guru, Mr.Anwar Rammal of Asiatic PR.

The special Campaign of the year award was awarded to Surf Excel for Madad Ek Ibadat!
The Top Brand 2016 award was bagged by Coca-Cola.
Nurpur won the award for the best in the foods and Dairy category with their out of the box, Ramadan ad which was a well-deserved win!
Telenor shined through the Telecommunication category by winning two awards.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
The night opened with a stellar performance from the talented Sara Haider and ended with a powerhouse closing by Noori. The show also had various entertaining moments such as a hilarious comic skit by the uber-talented women’s group, ‘Khawatoons’, a performance by Junaid Akram featuring Mooro and an entertaining dance performance by Nausheen Shah
.
