The Pakistan Advertiser’s Society (PAS) Awards, one of the most reputable events of the advertising industry is celebrated to honor the most effective communications that are run each year. 

Running in its fifth year now, the prestigious event will take place in April this year to award the campaigns that ran in 2014. The briefing of the event  took place in Karachi on Friday 9th January at a local cafe and was chaired by Aly Muntasir, chairman PAS Awards Committee who welcomed the guests and debriefed them about PAS’s evolution over the years.


One of the key aspects discussed during the debriefing was the introduction of a new element i.e. ‘lifetime achievement award’ that will be initiated this year.

The idea of Lifetime Achievement Award is to acknowledge the tremendous great work being done by people like copywriters, visualizers, brand ambassadors, producers, strategists or marketers by bringing their work to the lime light.

The event was attended by 50 great names of the industry including National Foods, Engro, HBL, Bank Al-Falah, Unilever Pakistan, Tapal Tea, English Biscuits, Burj Bank, Express News, Jubilee life, Millward Brown, ZIL, Dabur, Espresso, Pizza Hut, TPL Holding, Cinepax among others were present. From the agency side was represented by  JWT, Spectrum Y&R, Adcom, GroupM, IAL Saatchi & Saatchi, The Brand Crew, Convex, Media Idee, Resource Edge, Think Tank Advertising and Synergy Advertising.The debriefing also unveiled the involvement of an independent auditor for the very first time to overlook and monitoring the entire judging process of PAS Awards.

The PAS Awards Committee is now receiving entries for 2015 awards up until till February 13, 2015 after which no new entries will be entertained.
