A Pakistani student from Sargodha, Abu Hifs brought a gold medal home by securing the first position in an International Maths Competition. Abu Hifs who belongs to Kot Momin area of Sargodha competed with the students of 16 other countries and managed to defeat them by securing the first place for himself; the competition was organized by the University of South Wales, Australia.

 


Hifs is a student of 7th grade in Bhabra Higher Secondary Government School in Kot Momin.

A total of 100 students from Pakistan took part in this competition out of which 2 students were from Bhabra Higher Secondary Government School.

Pakistani students wins Math competition

On one hand, this accolade gives Pakistanis a major factor to be proud of; on the other hand, it also evidently supports the idea that a student from an ordinary government school can also make a mark and make the country proud.
