Pakistani movie Moor has released its entire soundtrack. This directorial venture of Jami includes powerful music produced by Strings alongside meaningful lyrics by Anwar Maqsood. The music of the film has garnered immense popularity amongst the masses already and is receiving ravishing reviews.

‘Moor’ set to release this Independence Day is a fresh breath of air for the booming Pakistani industry and depicts the picturesque beauty of Baluchistan in every shot.


Jami expressed his enthusiasm for the music by saying “The music is very soulful and mesmerizing, it adds to the subtle underlying tones of the movie without overpowering the storyline. ‘Moor’ is based on a true story and hence the background score, music and even the lyrics are extremely relatable and specifically designed to connect with the common man.”

Jami has always shown a keen interest in projects which are of social consequence; cementing his ideology through this movie yet again.

Pakistani duo Strings have left no stone unturned in producing the music for ‘Moor’. The music of ‘Moor’ lives up to the expectations of the audience and is proving to set a precedent for the Pakistani music industry.

On the occasion Strings added, “We have worked with Jami ample times in the past and therefore, share a bond where we understand the tastes and requirements of each other perfectly. The music for ‘Moor’ has a very earthy tone and combines local instruments and artists in the most beautiful way possible. We think our fans are in for a treat.”

The powerful vocals for ‘Moor’ have been recorded with famous names of the Pakistani industry such as Strings, Javed Bashir, Meesha Shafi, Rahim Shah, Rahma Ali and Noman Farooqui.

The cast of the movie includes seasoned actors of the Pakistani performing arts fraternity such as Hameed Sheikh, Samiya Mumtaz, Shaz Khan, Abdul Qadir, Soniya Hussain, Ayaz Samoo and Syed Eshita Mehboob.
