The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2016 logo was unveiled yesterday at a grand ceremony in Lahore. PSL 2016 has partnered with HBL; therefore the new logo launch ceremony was also attended by senior HBL officials.

While speaking on the occasion, the head of PCB’s executive committee, Najam Sethi praised the part played by media in arranging the PSL event and announced that future tournament editions will be held in Pakistan.

Rameez Raja, the brand ambassador of Pakistan Super League congratulated the team owners for buying their particular franchises; he also declared that the PSL 2016 league will be one of the greatest world tournaments.

It must be noted that the first PSL edition will be contested in Sharjah and Dubai in February 2016.

Pakistan Super League (PSL) held a ceremony on Sunday at Lahore Expo Center to unveil the logo which was attended by prominent showbiz and cricket figures.

T20 Captain Shahid Afridi and Test Captain Misbah ul Haq also reflected on the importance of such events in Pakistan. Afridi was recorded to have said that PSL is great news for Pakistan Cricket.
A large number of guests attended the event to celebrate the festivity, among which women Cricket Team, Pakistan Cricket Team and celebs from showbiz were also present. Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal from cricket team and Ayesha Omar, Mahira Khan, Nadia Hussain and Cybil Chaudhry were among celeb guest list.
