That’s right folks! Pakistan is already working hard at technology, the company is almost ready to test 5G operations. The Ministry of IT and the government, in general, have already held three successful transparent commercial auctions of frequency spectrum during its tenure.
The next step, which is a Policy Directive has been issued, this has been submitted to the Federal Government for approval, once approved, telecom companies will get permission to test 5G technology and other new and advanced tech.
Soon, customers will start to receive this service and will be able to upgrade from 4G to 5G. IT Minister, Anusha Rehman had firmly promised the nation to introduce technology which has been updated with the world. She had proposed that technology is an important part of Pakistan’s growth and it will revolutionize in the upcoming years.
While releasing the policy directive for consideration of the Cabinet Minister of State for Information Technology Ms. Anusha Rahman said that The Ministry has stayed committed to accelerated digitization through proliferation of broadband and particularly Mobile broadband.
