The 75th annual Pakistan Day Parade marked an auspicious and historical day for Pakistan as one of the most impressive fly-pasts was performed over the sky.

This particular Pakistan Day parade was historic as first of many instances in Pakistan Day history were exhibited.

Pakistan’s ‘Shaheen’ squadron was led by none other than the newly appointed Air Chief Marshal ‘Sohail Aman’.

In a patriotic and (dare-I-say?) classy move, the Air Chief himself took to the sky in an F-16 Fighting Falcon Block 52. This was the first instance in Pakistani history that an Air Chief himself led the fly past.

Clad in a fighter pilot uniform, the Air Chief put on quite a show when he launched his F-16 on a vertical climb and displayed impressive Aileron rolls while doing so.

These air-combat maneuvers required the Air Chief to pull off and navigate no less than 8 Gs+ force, pushing the pilot and the craft to near extremes. This exhibition of skill and stamina displayed by the top stratum of the Pakistan Air Force is enough to strike fear in enemies and fill our hearts with adrenaline and love for our forces.

It was the first time in Pakistan Day history that the recently acquired ‘F-16 Block 52’ fighters debuted in the sky. Also the first Pakistan day Parade to be telecasted from the sky as Go-pro camera was fitted in the cockpit of the Air Chief.

The thrilling visuals of the chief in the cockpit and him supervising the squadron were directly aired at the parade ceremony.

The parade also displayed formations of indigenously developed JF-17 Thunders along with F-16, Mirages, F-7 andNavy’s p-3C Orion aircrafts

The jets squadron presented salute to the President Mamnoon Hussain by flying past the chief guests’ dais.
