Oppo has also decided to go down the same path as Samsung and Sony by launching a sub-brand under the banner of the F-Series which is said to be better equipped with camera specs.

Vice President and Managing Director for Oppo, Sky Li said at the official ceremony:

The series will bring devices with impressive specs, eye-catching style and amazing prices that will have consumers doing double takes on the excellent specs and build quality.

We are very excited to introduce the F series, which will allow an even wider range of users from all around the world to experience OPPO’s outstanding photography technology.”

Oppo will be introducing the new Oppo F1 model at the CES 2016. It is being speculated that the Oppo A53 will be renamed as Oppo F1 for the global market.

The smartphone itself has a metallic body with a 5.5-inch display running on Color OS 2.1. The internal storage boasts a space of 16 GB whereas 2 GB has been allotted to 2 GB RAM.  The phone is powered by Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor. The battery is up to 3.075 mAh.

13 megapixels for the primary camera and 5 megapixels for the secondary camera are unarguably the best features of the phone. It is a dual sim phone as is s thin and light as 7.4 mm and 153 gm respectively.

The phone may be priced at around $300 globally.
