Oculus VR has accidentally leaked images of the upcoming consumer Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD), in spite of trying very hard to keep one of the most anticipated devices of the year under wraps.

As Oculus VR prepared for the upcoming pre-E3 press conference, to be held on 11th June 2015, it created a new website for promotional campaigns and counting down the days.

However, before the company could reveal details at the press conference, the website started showing up hidden pictures of the consumer Oculus Rift.

Images of the new consumer Oculus Rift that were supposed to be buried deep into the design of the newly designed website started showing up online and revealed what most had already speculated.

The images show the consumer Oculus Rift with headphones that were initially introduced back in 2004 along with Crescent Unit and an overhead strap. At the front of the device is the Oculus VR logo along with what seems like a built-in camera, pointing in the direction where the user will be looking.

There is also a wired object on one side of the device, what some are hoping to be a Rift Tracker, a tracking camera.

What appears in the images is not only what had been speculated by many beforehand but also what seems to be like the final version of the soon to be released consumer Oculus Rift.

Other images are far more interesting with one displaying a remote-like controller with a circular top surface, which resembles strongly with what we have seen on Steam Controller and HTC Vive’s motion track devices by Vive. Detailed images of the device also reveal buttons displaying Plus, Minus and Return options.
