On October 20, HTC revealed its latest smartphone, the HTC One A9, and promised regular and fast system updates.

The new and improved HTC One, the A9, features metal design, a 5-inch edge-to-edge full HD AMOLED screen and HTC BoomSound in the headset as well as support for Dolby Audio surround sound for an immersive audio experience when listening to music.


The company also affirmed in a tweet that software updates to Marshmallow will come within 15 days of their push: “The One A9 unlocked edition will provide every software update within 15 days of Google’s first push to Nexus.”

The HTC One A9’s SIM-unlocked handset retails for $399.99 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
