For Hollywood, the weekend ended with high-flying drama, flashy performances, shocking celebrity dresses and not-to-forget, Miley Cyrus’s wacky hosting at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday in Los Angeles.

The nominations were spread over 16 categories with Taylor Swift included in 10 of the big award selections. Consequently, she became the biggest winner of the night while Kanye West received the coveted Video Vanguard Award.

The grandiose ceremony featured performance by Swift, Nicki Minaj, Demi Lovato and Justin Beiber, who broke into tears during his musical act.
